All that we
have comes from God. That may not be our first thought about our
possessions, but it is in fact true. Our very lives depend upon God's
loving generosity. From that perspective, the concept of Stewardship is
appropriate. We are the stewards of the gifts that come from God. As
such, it is only fitting that we be willing to offer what we received through
God's generosity as a symbol of our awareness of His love for us.
