Sunday evenings
offer the young people of our parish the opportunity to serve our
community by taking an active role in Music Ministry. The Youth Choir
welcomes all young people in grades 8-12 who enjoy singing, and would like
to share their gift with others.
The Choir and
musicians meet in the church on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm till 8:30pm
to rehearse the music for the following Sunday's Mass, and to learn new
pieces. Our Youth Choir provides the Music Ministry each week at the
5:30pm Sunday Mass, as well as at special liturgies at other times
throughout the year.
There are no vocal
auditions for the Choir... all that is needed is a love for singing, as well
as a sincere commitment to sharing that gift by helping to lead the
community in song at Mass. Any young person interested in the Youth Choir is
invited to come to a Wednesday evening rehearsal, or see Steve and Patti
Anderson after the 5:30 Mass on Sundays.
